Parks Board
Of the many special features of the county, its parks are one of the most visited. A place for children and gatherings, Mercer's parks are appreciated by many.
Of course the pinnacle of our parks system is Anderson Dean Park. This 213 acre park was established in 1993 by the Mercer County Fiscal Court and the City of Harrodsburg. The Park is located on U.S. Highway 127, three miles north of Harrodsburg.
The park office is located in the Thomas Logan House at the far end of the park behind the softball fields, which was built in 1890.
